PDO Threads
A planned lower-face mono-thread treatment designed to support collagen, firmness and gradual skin improvement.
Book a ConsultationPDO mono threads are fine, absorbable threads placed beneath the skin to support a gradual collagen response. They are used for skin quality and mild firmness rather than creating the strong mechanical lift associated with surgical procedures.
Our lower-face package is delivered across two planned sittings. Each appointment can include up to ten threads, allowing the response to settle before the second stage is completed.
Common concerns we treat
Subtle support, built in stages
Fine PDO mono threads are placed beneath the skin through a sterile needle or cannula. The threads provide a temporary internal stimulus while the surrounding tissue begins a gradual collagen response.
Mono threads do not produce the same immediate lift as barbed lifting threads or surgery. Results are subtle, develop over time and depend on skin quality, anatomy and healing response.
What to expect
Consultation
We assess facial anatomy, skin laxity, medical history and whether mono threads match your expectations.
First Sitting
Up to ten threads are placed across the agreed lower-face areas using a planned sterile technique.
Settling Period
The tissue is allowed to settle and respond over approximately eight weeks.
Second Sitting
A further treatment of up to ten threads completes the planned package, followed by review and aftercare.

A proper conversation
PDO mono threads may suit adults with early lower-face laxity or reduced firmness who want a subtle, gradual improvement and understand the limitations of a non-surgical treatment.
They may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infection, bleeding or healing disorders, certain medical conditions, unsuitable anatomy or expectations that require surgery. Not sure if this is the right treatment for your concern?

Informed decisions matter
Expected effects include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, tightness and temporary irregularity. Less common complications include infection, thread visibility or palpability, dimpling, asymmetry, migration, extrusion, nerve or vessel injury, scarring and an unsatisfactory result.
We explain expected recovery, aftercare, warning signs and the contact procedure before you decide whether to proceed. Urgent or unexpected symptoms must be reported immediately.
