Dermal filler may be suitable for adults who want to restore lost volume, soften deeper facial folds or improve the balance of particular features. It is not suitable for anyone under 18 and will not be performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Treatment may also need to be postponed or avoided because of infection, certain medical conditions, allergies, medication or previous complications.

Informed decisions matter
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, itching, firmness and asymmetry can occur following treatment. Less common but potentially serious complications include infection, nodules, tissue damage and vascular occlusion, where filler affects the blood supply to the skin. Visual disturbance and blindness are rare but recognised risks.
We explain the risks, warning signs, aftercare and emergency contact procedure before you decide whether to proceed. Urgent symptoms must be reported immediately rather than waiting for a routine review.

That depends on your anatomy, the area being treated and the result you want. Dermal filler is priced at £135 per ml, but we only recommend the amount we believe is appropriate. Your complete treatment plan and total cost are confirmed during consultation.
You may feel pressure, pinching or brief discomfort. Many fillers contain local anaesthetic, and additional comfort measures can be discussed during your appointment.
You will usually see an immediate change, but swelling can temporarily affect the result. The treated area may take approximately two to four weeks to settle fully.
Results commonly last around six to eighteen months, depending on the product, treatment area, amount used and your individual metabolism.
