Why We Chose Neauvia Filler for Our Durham Clinic

Why we chose Neauvia filler, The Aesthetic Surgery Durham

When I decide what to use on your face, I am not looking for the newest product or the one with the biggest marketing budget. I want to know how it is made, how it behaves once it is placed, and how it looks months later when nobody is thinking about filler any more. Neauvia passed on all three, which is why it is now part of the treatment menu at The Aesthetic Surgery.

What makes Neauvia different?

Hyaluronic acid is a sugar your body already makes. On its own it breaks down within days, so to turn it into a filler that lasts, manufacturers link the molecules together into a gel. Most hyaluronic acid fillers use a cross-linker called BDDE to do this.

Neauvia uses a different cross-linker: PEG, or polyethylene glycol. PEG is used widely in medicine because tissue tends to tolerate it well. Some Neauvia gels also contain the amino acids glycine and L-proline, and the Stimulate gel adds calcium hydroxylapatite, an ingredient associated with collagen support.

What that means for you

Results that move with you. The gels are designed to lift and support without a firm, heavy feel. The real test of any filler is how you look when you talk, smile and laugh, not just in a still photo.

The right gel for each area. A cheek needs firm, lifting support. A lip needs something softer that moves naturally. Fine lines need a gel that stays flexible. Neauvia has a family of gels, so each area can be treated with a product made for that job.

Another considered option. If you have reacted to a filler before, or you would simply prefer a PEG cross-linked product, Neauvia gives us another carefully chosen route. I always check your medical history first, and if filler is not right for you, I will tell you.

The Neauvia range in plain English

  • Intense: a firmer gel for cheeks, mid-face and structural support
  • Intense LV: a softer gel for subtle cheek contouring
  • Intense Flux: a versatile gel for the mid-face and nasolabial area
  • Intense Lips: a softer, more elastic gel for lip shape and volume
  • Intense Rheology: a flexible gel for fine lines and delicate areas
  • Stimulate: PEG hyaluronic acid with calcium hydroxylapatite, glycine and L-proline, for support and skin quality together
  • Hydro Deluxe: a skin booster for hydration rather than shape
  • Man range: Intense Man, Stimulate Man and Hydro Deluxe Man, for thicker skin and stronger features

Neauvia Stimulate was named Best Injectable Dermal Filler at the AMWC 2024 Aesthetic Medicine Awards.

Neauvia or our standard filler?

We now offer two filler choices. Our standard hyaluronic acid filler is £135 per ml and gives excellent, natural results for most people. Neauvia is £210 per ml and is our premium option, for clients who want PEG cross-linked gels or a plan that uses several different gels across the face.

You do not need to choose before you come in. At your free consultation I will look at your face, talk through what you would like to change, and recommend the option that suits your goals and your budget. You will always have a clear total price before anything is booked.

Questions people ask

What is Neauvia filler?

Neauvia is a range of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers that are cross-linked using PEG (polyethylene glycol) instead of BDDE. The range includes different gels for cheeks, lips, the mid-face, fine lines and skin quality.

Is Neauvia better than other fillers?

Not for everyone. It is a different way of making a filler, and it gives us more choice of gel for each area. Many people get excellent results with our standard filler. Lee will recommend what suits your face at consultation.

How much is Neauvia filler in Durham?

At The Aesthetic Surgery, Neauvia filler is £210 per ml. Our standard hyaluronic acid filler is £135 per ml. Your consultation is free and your total price is confirmed before treatment.

Who is Neauvia filler suitable for?

Adults who want lips, cheeks, chin, jawline or lines treated, and who would like a PEG cross-linked option, including some people who have reacted to a filler before. Suitability is always checked at consultation.

How long does Neauvia filler last?

It varies with the gel, the area treated, the amount used and your own metabolism. Lee will give you a realistic guide for your plan at consultation.
