Neauvia filler at The Aesthetic Surgery is carried out by Lee Jameson-Laffey, Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner, at The Station House in the Lanchester Valley, minutes from Durham city centre. It costs £210 per ml and uses Neauvia's PEG cross-linked hyaluronic acid gels for areas including cheeks, lips, chin, jawline, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

Neauvia is a range of hyaluronic acid fillers built around one idea: different areas of the face need different gels. A cheek needs firm, lifting support. A lip needs something softer that moves naturally. Fine lines need a gel that stays flexible.
Neauvia gels are cross-linked using PEG (polyethylene glycol) rather than the BDDE used in many fillers. Some clients choose Neauvia for that reason, and some because the range gives Lee more control over how each area looks and moves. Either way, every treatment starts with a proper assessment, and if filler is not right for you, we will tell you.
Why we brought Neauvia to TAS
We do not add a new product because it is new. Before anything is used in clinic, Lee looks at how it is made, how it behaves in the tissue and how it looks months later, when nobody is thinking about filler any more. Neauvia passed on all three.
A different cross-linker
Most hyaluronic acid fillers are cross-linked with BDDE. Neauvia uses PEG (polyethylene glycol), a polymer used widely in medicine because tissue tends to tolerate it well.
Results that move with you
The gels are designed to lift and support without a firm, heavy feel, so the treated area still looks natural when you talk, smile and laugh.
The right gel for each area
A full family of gels means cheeks, lips, jawline and fine lines can each be treated with a product made for that job, rather than one gel for everything.
A considered choice
For clients who have reacted to a filler before, or who simply want a PEG option, Neauvia gives us another carefully chosen route. Suitability is always checked at consultation.
Neauvia Stimulate was named Best Injectable Dermal Filler at the AMWC 2024 Aesthetic Medicine Awards.

Two good options
We offer two filler choices. Our standard hyaluronic acid filler is £135 per ml and gives excellent, natural results for most people. Neauvia is £210 per ml and is our premium option, for clients who want PEG cross-linked gels or a plan that uses several different gels across the face.
You do not need to decide before you come in. Lee will talk you through both and recommend what suits your face, your goals and your budget.

What to expect, at a glance
A proper conversation
Neauvia filler may be suitable for adults who want to restore lost volume, soften deeper facial folds or improve the balance of particular features. It is not suitable for anyone under 18 and will not be performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Treatment may also need to be postponed or avoided because of infection, certain medical conditions, allergies, medication or previous complications.

Informed decisions matter
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, itching, firmness and asymmetry can occur following treatment. Less common but potentially serious complications include infection, nodules, tissue damage and vascular occlusion, where filler affects the blood supply to the skin. Visual disturbance and blindness are rare but recognised risks.
We explain the risks, warning signs, aftercare and emergency contact procedure before you decide whether to proceed. Urgent symptoms must be reported immediately rather than waiting for a routine review.
FAQ
Neauvia fillers are hyaluronic acid gels cross-linked using PEG (polyethylene glycol), rather than the BDDE used in many other fillers. The range also includes Stimulate, which combines PEG hyaluronic acid with calcium hydroxylapatite and the amino acids glycine and L-proline. Lee will explain whether Neauvia or our standard filler suits you better.
Neauvia filler is £210 per ml. We only recommend the amount we believe is appropriate, and your total price is confirmed during your free consultation before anything is booked.
That depends on the area and the result you want. Firmer gels from the Intense range suit cheeks and structural support, softer gels suit lips and finer lines, and Stimulate may be chosen where skin quality is part of the plan. The product is agreed with you at consultation.
You may feel pressure, pinching or brief discomfort. Comfort measures are discussed during your appointment.
This varies with the product, the area treated, the amount used and your own metabolism. Lee will give you a realistic guide for your plan at consultation.
